I know how it feels to be trying so hard to keep up on the outside but struggling with an intense inner turmoil on the inside. It’s hard to admit that you don’t have it all together when you think that being a Superwoman is what makes you worthy and empowered as a woman.
After my twin boys were born, my entire life shifted. Even with the birth of my daughter a few years earlier I had started to completely lose my identity in taking care of my kids. When I realized it was necessary, I eventually left my corporate career and started a daycare business so I could care for my kids around-the-clock.
I stopped doing all the things I loved to do like practicing self-care, writing, motivational speaking and reading. I had become so narrow-focused that I couldn’t even admit (or see) that I needed help at first.
As a teenager, I was a “big” kid with a loud mouth who never felt good enough. After high school, I had a personal encounter with God and knew from that moment on that my purpose was to empower women to maximize their potential and live purposeful lives.
I went on to publish my first book at the age of 17 to share my experiences & to help empower teenage girls who also struggled with self-esteem.
I obtained my B.A. in Psychology and my Masters in Organizational Leadership & Human Resources Management.
All through my corporate career, I often coached the women who were struggling to find balance & purpose in their lives.
But everything stopped when I had kids. I lost myself completely for years & was headed for complete burnout. This was because in my bid to be a virtuous woman, I neglected my emotional, spiritual, physical & psychological wellness.
I kept thinking I should be happy – I have everything I have always wanted – a husband, kids, educational degrees – but I wasn’t fulfilled because I always felt overwhelmed, tired, stressed, burnt-out and out of balance.
I found my way back to a more balanced, fulfilled, productive & purposeful life and I’m now on a mission to help other struggling women do the same.
My approach is different because I help you get to the root cause of your problems. I take you deeper within my coaching programs, tools, the word of God and educational content to build a solid foundation with a higher self-esteem first.
One of my client’s biggest concerns is time – I know you are already so busy & pressed with time that you don’t think you have time to commit to coaching and the journey to finding balance. This is why I can help you eliminate your time wasters, things that drain you & show you how to rearrange your schedules so you actually have even more time for yourself than you think.
I have faced unique & challenging circumstances as a mom of twins with special needs & have learned first-hand how to juggle many complicated & demanding family needs along with pursuing my own dreams – If I can do it, so can you!
As a coach, I delve deep into your actual issues – no surface level solutions… I use simple & practical tools, resources and coaching to move you forward for true change in your life.
I’m also redefining what it means to be empowered – it isn’t about being a Superwoman as society defines it. You don’t need a hard exterior in order to succeed, you don’t need to pretend to have it all together, you don’t need to do everything on your own, & you don’t need to forget about having a family or kids. You can be a wife, be a mom, be empowered, & be making an impact…if you have balance.
